Clearly, college football recruiting services can provide a great and needed service for high school football players and their parents. They have helped many athletes who would not have otherwise played college football reach their goal.

They Provide A Great Serice

I applaud these recruiting services for football for helping these kids fulfill their dream. However, I don't think it's necessary for high school football players to pay thousands of dollars to be promoted by someone else to college coaches. Why? Because they can and should market and promote themselves!

If you look at the list of five things I listed that these football recruiting services can do for you, you will see that you can all of these things for yourself. It only takes a little research, time, effort and patience on your part. There is nothing magical about what these services can do, because you can do it all yourself.

A Question To Consider

Who cares more about your football future?  You, or football recruiting services that are dealing with hundreds or even thousands of athletes at one time. I think you know the answer to that one. No one! Even your high school coach won't care as much about your opportunity to play college footall as you do.  It's really up to you to make it happen.
